Brattahlíð Port, formerly known as Brattahlid, was Erik the Red's estate in the Eastern Settlement Viking colony established in south-western Greenland in the 10th century. Located about 96 km from the ocean at the head of the Tunulliarfik Fjord, this historical site offers a glimpse into Norse history in the Americas. Visitors can explore Thjodhild's church, the first European church in the Americas, and a replica of a Norse longhouse.
